(Writer/Director)Steve Collins wrote and directed the critically acclaimed absurdist comedy I’VE GOT ISSUES, featuring Jim Gaffiigan, as well as YOU HURT MY FEELINGS, a New York Times and New York Magazine critics’ pick. His first feature GRETCHEN, featuring Stephen Root, Becky Ann Baker, and Macon Blair won Best Narrative Feature at the Los Angeles Film Festival. He recently shot, edited and produced the 2025 Sundance film REMEMBER ME. Collins has taught filmmaking at the University of Texas at Austin, and presently heads the film production department at Wesleyan University
